Maghon Taylor Announced as Dancing with the Stars Dancer for Little Pink Houses of Hope

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your pens and get ready to mark your calendars for October 21, because we have some exciting news to share! The one and only Maghon Taylor of All She Wrote Notes is going to be a star, a Dancing with the Stars dancer that is, at the Little Pink Houses of Hope Fundraiser Gala!

Yes, you read that right. Maghon, the bubbly and whimsical lettering guru who has captured our hearts and brightened our days with her cheerful handwriting, is going to strut her stuff on the dance floor for a good cause. And let's be real, we know she's going to rock it because have you seen her signature handwriting? You know that girl's got spins and twirls and probably even confetti cannons if I had to guess. 

For those of you who are unfamiliar with  Little Pink Houses of Hope, it's a wonderful organization that helps families affected by breast cancer by providing them with free week-long beach retreats to take a break from treatments and make memories with one another. Founded in Burlington, NC (right around the corner from ASWN in Gibsonville), this organization is very close to Maghon’s heart. 

In 2015, just a few weeks before her wedding, Maghon found herself on the receiving end of a worrisome breast exam, and though gratefully her mammograms have been clear ever since, not a year goes by that she doesn’t worry and wonder “what if?”  Just last year her husband Chris’s beloved grandmother began fighting her own battle with breast cancer with courage and grace, and there’s nobody Maghon looks up to more. 

You can always count on Maghon to bring the razzle dazzle, but she needs your help too!  Starting TODAY, Maghon is looking for corporate sponsorships to help her reach her fundraising goal of $50,000.  Of course All She Wrote Notes already signed on (bc we know the owner) but this would be a HUGE deal to us if you or someone you know would be willing to contribute.  These start at $1,000 and include tickets to the event in October. Soon, we will be asking for individual donations, too and you know she’s got lots of PINK surprises up her sleeve for everyone who is willing to support. Every $1 equals one “vote” to help her twirl to the top of the leaderboard.

We will have an official website to collect donations through Little Pink next month, but if its burning a hole in your pocket today, go ahead and send to Maghon via Venmo @Maghon with some Pink Heart Emojis and she’ll dance it on over to Little Pink from there!
