Conferences and Retreats have CHANGED THE GAME for me and my business since I first started attending in 2013.  Now I am honored to be an accomplished conference speaker and get to travel the USA learning from the leading ladies in my creative field.  I am constantly asked if it's "worth it" to invest in conferences and every single time I will tell you YASSSSSS.

Five Things I've Learned in Five Years of Business

August 13, 2018 Maghon Taylor

Today All She Wrote Notes turns 5!  I can hardly believe it, because it seems like just yesterday that I was sitting in my bed, on my iPhone 4 hitting publish on my very first Instagram post.  I had one follower, (which was me on my other account!) but today there are more than 30,000 followers across social media.  I grew slowly, one order at a time, one customer at a time.  One life stage at a time, really.  I couldn't be more grateful that this gets to be my job.  I'm not much of a blogger, but I couldn't let this occasion go by without sharing a few words. so here we go.

Small Biz Summer Bucket List

Last week I shared this post about how I wanted to make it my mission to invest more in my local Alamance County community and shop with small businesses.  I spent the weekend walking in the door of a few fun places I either had never stopped in or hadn’t visited in a while and I already can’t wait to go back!  My friend Andrea always says you should be a tourist in your own town and I have been inspired to create a summer bucket list of sorts where V and I go out each week and patron some of these awesome local sites and shops.  We are already off to a great start and our list keeps growing.
